U18 Girls singing in the rain!

The approach road might have been flooded but that wasn't going to stop the U18 girls recording a 4-0 victory over Hertford U18 girls in the Plate competition.
The unusual circumstances of an opposition with no goalie (for the 1st half), players who only seemed to have met that morning, the wrong coloured tops and no umpire plus that torrential downpour did not seem to fluster our girls.
They turned in a really good team performance with goals from Aofie, Tash, Sadie and Olivia.
The sun came out and blue sky appeared just in time for post match photos from Tim. The hoped for hot coffees and hot chocolates were nowhere in sight, so we all departed very wet but pleased with everyone having played so well.
