Success in the Pre Season Friendlies

It has been great to see players, both new and old, dusting off the cobwebs in preprartion for the new season.
The Mens' 2s and Mens' 3s sides took on Cambridge South last week. The M2 romped to a 5-0 victory and the M3 battled to a well deserved 0-0 draw.
For the ladies, the L1 have started well and won games against Stevenage and Cambridge City. The L4 were on the wrong side of a 2-0 defeat to Cambridge South ladies.
This weekend (4 September) has seen:
The Ladies' 3s had a cracking victory over Royston, coming from 3-1 down to win 4-3. and the Ladies' 2s beat St Ives 4-1.
The Mens' 1s have enjoyed their first runout of the season and whilst they lost 3-0 against Bedford the new system and team performed well. Finally our Men's 3s drew 1-1 away to Royston. So all told, a fantastic start before the real season begins!
