St Neots host new Club League games

On a bright sunny morning at Longsands, St Neots Academy hosted the first of the Club League games for U8 and U10 teams, new for 2017.
Saffron Walden brought 5 teams to play in a series of mixed games with our 5 teams. while we sent both girls and boys U12 teams to play at Wisbech.
Later that day our U16 girls hosted Bedford, while our U18 boys travelled to play Warwick.
This meant that over 130 local St Neots youngsters were being offered quality, well matched competitive hockey, organised in conjunction with England Hockey. There are now a series of such games lined up for this season. Thanks to all the parents and coaches and young leaders that made this all happen so smoothly.
