Saints Club day 2018 aims to be best yet!
Posted by Duncan Talbot on 18 August 2018
The aim is for this years annual senior Club day to be the biggest / best yet!
A fun day (10am-3.30pm) of short small-sided mixed hockey games comprising teams with representatives drawn from across the mens and ladies sides. Following on from the recent successful Ladies World Cup we will maintain the World Cup theme, representing nations that competed in the recent tournament in London!
We will break the morning and afternoon games / schedule with a lunchtime barbecue with time to socialise and encourage you to conclude the day by rehydrating at The Anchor, Little Paxton where we enjoy hospitality and excellent match teas through the season.
All welcome (from players who will be 13 by March 2019 upwards!), any experience or ability, or even new to the game - come and meet us, make some new friends, get some exercise and give hockey a try!
Nik Payne is in charge of "razamatazz"! and is promising music as well as some other firsts / innovations this year that he keeps "droning" on about?!
Meet 9.45am at Longsands (PE19 1LQ). Current members please respond to your website notification and let me know if you are coming so that as far as possible I can arrange teams before the day to make planning organisation easier and to help things run smoothly! For more details or to confirm attendance you can also contact me on 07906802557.
Normal match fees (£12 / £6) to include the days games and lunchtime barbecue will be collected via the website. No charge for any new players.
See you there! Duncan.
