Update related to new Covid Alert Levels

Posted by Emma Southern on 16 October 2020

Outdoor, organised team sport continues to be seen as a low-risk activity for the transmission of Covid-19.   At all three of the new alert levels, outdoor hockey activity is allowed to continue.

At Level 1 (Medium) and Level 2 (High), outdoor hockey can continue with no additional restrictions.

At Level 3 (Very High), training and matches within the Level 3 area can continue. But travel restrictions may prevent people from travelling into or out of a Level 3 area.

We will be keeping an eye on the Alert Levels in our area and in the areas where we play away games, and we’ll update players if there is any impact on training or matches.
