Level 1 Umpiring Course

The club is holding a Level 1 umpiring course on the 19th and 20th July 2019. To register you need to register via the England Hockey Website https://hockeyhub.englandhockey.co.uk/officiating-offer?/ The cost of the course is £50 which the club is willing to subsidise members by £25. The remainder will be recovered once you start umpiring matches for the club. It is open to anyone aged 14 and over and is being held over 2 days 7 - 10.30 on Friday the 19th at the Anchor for all the classroom stuff and then Saturday 20th 1-4pm at Longsands for the practical elements. You will need to complete the online rules test before coming to the first session
The club needs more umpires so we need people to become qualified and this is an excellent opportunity on your doorstep!
