Bedford Summer Mixed Hockey

For many years we have had a team in the Bedford Summer Mixed "League". It is sociable and a good way of keeping fit and continuing to play after the end of the regular season. In the lower of 2 "Leagues" we have fielded a competitive team for the last few seasons.
Games are once a week May - July on a Monday or Tuesday evening at Bedford Sports and Hockey Centre starting at either 7 or 8.30pm with teams comprising 5 men, 5 ladies and a goalkeeper. Match fees to cover costs will be in the region of £5 / game.
If you are interested in playing please let your team Captain or Duncan (07906802557) know ASAP. We also need Captain(s) for the team(s) - having done a few summer seasons it is someone elses turn! For a couple of years I have organised the whole team and previously I shared the job with Alice - she organised the ladies and I organised the men - this can work well depending on who might like to Captain / organise and whether they know people on both sides of the Club or not. If you need more information at all please ask! Depending on numbers interested in playing and Captains we might be able to field one or two sides?!
