What a pleasure to see two teams fielding a combination of young and somewht older players giving their all with the increasingly developing home side youngsters determining the outcome. Saints went ahead in the first half earning a short corner. Watts pushed out to Sutton whose shot was stopped on the line by a Peterborough defender's foot. The PF was subsequently put away by Sutton with some aplomb! The second half saw some end to end play with Blencowe (MoM) and Hoye at the back ably dealing with most Peterborough attacks and a St Neots foray into the opposite D seeing Oli Holmes scoring his first goal of the season from open play. Great umpiring allowed the game to flow for a deserved home win, their third of the season.
