With the bare eleven Saints worked hard against Wisbech, a team in the league who have pressed all season to earn promotion. Saints hard a very solid first 20 minutes and Wisbech struugled to make mauch headway. But good players, with subs, eventually began to tell, despite the usual brilliant performance of Chri Turner in the Saints' goal. 2-0 down at half time, Saints certainly tried their best but Wisbech attackers were always a threat to them. Anthony Holmes gave a dynamic performance despite his injury problems this season and capped this with another short corner goal. Rob Hoye was also dominant in defence despite his big feet at times!! Man of the match was Ellis Wyse but the away side eventaully succumbed to three second half goals including a PF after an illegal stop on the goal line.
