Match Report |
With just eleven players St Neots worked hard against a team they had previously drawn with. They were pleased to welcome back Anthony Holmes whose judicious use of the lofted ball was again outstanding and they fielded two new members who had not played in a men's side before - father and son James and Darren Allen. Despite hard work they were unable to cope with the home team and despite a goal from Darren Allen they were unable to put sufficient pressure on the home side. 2-0 down at half time, Saints were unable to to make the most of their infrequent opportunities. Man of the match for Saints was Dexter Critten but James Allen made a solid start to his club debut. The third goal against was a reallydefensive sloppy and embarressing mess! All round effort though could not be criticed too much. Thanks due to to Tim Poole and Pat Keogh for doubling up this week!
