With a squad of 12 this week Saints' relatively young side played with verve, determination, skill and speed. The visitors were closed down rapidly in every part of the pitch and had few opprtunities to score. Centre back and man of the match, Rob Hoye, even had the time to go forwad into attack for most of the second half which is when the Saints scored their two goals from firstly Iain Thomson and then Olly Colbert wo was guesting for the 4s this week. 13 year old Georgie Browne made his first ever appearance for a men's team and certainly made a positive impression. Dan Orton's game reflected his mature developent as a player in this team. This was a good result against an older and more experienced Cambs South side.
