A tough game- Ely started off attacking hard. There were times when we played more football than hockey conceding many short corners, luckily they didn't score from those due to great goal keeping by Steph. It was inevitable that Ely woul finally score as defence struggled to get the ball up to the forwards due to Ely pressing hard. Half time Saints were 2-0 down.
second half we made fewer errors and managed to get the ball into the oppositions D but unable to score. Despite it being a tough game against top of the league everyone played well!
Votes for MOM went to Lucia, Hannah, Ali S but Steph stole the show with her amazing efforts in goal. Well done team!
