The newly formed W2 team had their first home fixture of the league and they didn't disappoint their supporters. W2s started strong from the opening whistle and carried this on throughout the match. Their ball pace was good, equally matched by strong supportive runs, along with some great 1-2s up the sides, all of which gave W2s the opportunity to break into the opposition D and score. Half time score 3-0. Full time score 5-1. Shout outs go to Tash (who got POM, with her outstanding performance as bottom diamond, a position she had not played before today) and to Marie for her debut in W2s league for her fast paced attacking runs and jumping back to help defend when needed.
