Womens 3 Vs Kettering Ladies 3

A match in which the Ladies 3’s remained unshaken despite a multitude of goals scored by Kettering 3’s. 

Such strong spirits and determination in a game where the 3’s knew they were in for a tough match. 

Defence jabbing, blocking and clearing like there was no tomorrow ! 

Midfield chasing and fighting for ball possession like absolute champs! 

And the Forward line skilfully hopping over and around players to make headway for a goal… and they did not disappoint! 

With Hannah Thompson striking the ball and Becky Roberts making that touch to sneak it into the goal; putting an end to the four week goal draught for the 3’s.  
And the second goal again from Roberts in which she snapped up the ball from an attempted clearance, stepping around and away from them to make space for a powerful strike on goal! 

A team of swift youngsters with an abundance of energy that was everlasting, all encased in the form of midfield! 

The Bettsworth duo dominated the middle, effortlessly making progressions toward the goal alongside their teammates, with Aoife Stokes never far, ready to swoop in and sprint with the ball, making a break for a race to the goal!  

Poppy Presland, Ruby Lorigan, Beth Jenkins and Kirsty Clarke all put in the work, flying around the pitch and working together to create and maintain a solid structure! 

A huge well done to the team this week, 110% effort as always!
