Thanks to Poole, Gardner, Gardner and Keogh the 4s were able to fulfil this local derby fixture. Fielding four junior players including a great debut from youngster Oli Holmes and a welcome return to league hockey from his dad, Anthony. Playing in near-Arctic conditions at 3.30pm the team worked really hard, especially Ed Hems who was imperious at centre back. 0-0 at half time was a fair reflection of the game, but Saints leaked two in the second half: a draw may have a just result but the number shots on goal were not enough.. Excellent team effort all round..
