Match Report

Despite the gloomers and doomers the 4s were able to field eleven players in their local derby away to St Ives 5s. Freddie Spavis and Livio Mosca were fortunately available and maintained their excellent performances with Freddie scoring a great unstoppable goal in the first half. Either could have been man of the match! Saints were also indebted to goalie Ben Seaber playing his second game of the day. Despite the cold, constant rain Saints worked hard throughout and it was good to see two juniors step up to the men's league showing grit and determination - Aaron  Whitlock and Dexter Critten. It was also good to see the return after a long lay-off of veteran Adam Gardner in defence. A great team performance despite being forced to play much of the second half with ten men due to an injury to old-timer Olly Colbert.
