Another sad loss today. There was excellent play from everyone. We appreciated the added skills of the Sophies (Hawkes and Gurnell) who were able to play due to not having any school commitments.
Our goalkeeper made some great saves whilst playing with a slight injury made worse late on in the game forcing her to leave the pitch early.
Exceptional play earnt Sophie Hawkes the Man of the Match vote.
