Match Report |
Playing his first adult league game Freddie Spavins earned man of the match; he played with confidence, made significant contributions and scored two goals. The whole side played well and worked hard against a similar St Ives side of both young and more experienced players..Despite not gaining any short corners St Neots were a constant goal threat when St Ives did threaten by getting behind the defence Sami Farre in goal was up to the problem. Harry Pybus worked well with Spavins and they made life difficult to St Ives, often helped by a range of passes from Elliot Peck who controlled the defence. A well-deserved victory.
