After a 5-0 loss against the same team last week Saints gave their all and lost by 2-0. Kai Hall was outstanding in goal and kept out a rapacious Nomads forward line. New club member Iain Thomson, playing somewhat out of position, had a solid game and Gareth Cast excelled at centre back. Saints were 0-0 at half time but had to cope with waves of attack and plenty of short corners, having none themselves. This was a pretty young side overall and gave a good accounting of themselves against a top of the league side!
