| Match Report | First game playing together for the latest U12 team with many former U10s coming up. Great play against often older opposition, St Neots were unlucky to lose (0-1) against a strong Ely team in the opening match, despite some great goalkeeping by new keeper Tara Bell. Player of the tournament Bella (Isabella) Moretto scored the only goal in the second match versus Newmarket 2s winning 1-0. Bella worked hard in all her games, often running the length of the pitch to help defend, whilst battling for the attacking goal with team-mates Rosie Cox, Ella Roberts and Izzie Churms. Izzie scored a hat-trick in the final match against Newmarket 1s, winning 3-2. Well done to all the team and we look forward to the Bedford tournament next. The team included Tara, Bella, Rosie, Ella, Izzie, Emlia Heley, Myla Marshall, Poppy Corner and Julia Orton. |
