Match Report

St Neots eventually came out on top after twice falling behind.  The Cambridge South goals were scored against the run of play, the home team having a bigger share of the chances.  The make-up of the team benefitted from a balance of experience and youth, with some fine talent on display.  Olivia Corner's wing play was excellent, while Callie Wicks and Lily McKenzie did fine work in midfield, creating chances and tracking back tirelessly.  Sophie Gurnell has improved in each game she has played and put in her best performance to date.  Tash Pope capped an impressive show with a well taken goal, taking the ball round two defenders and the goalkeeper.
