Match Report | St Neots Ladies 4s kept their winning streak intact with a 2:1 win over Wisbech 3s on a very rainy and cold November afternoon. Despite some initial confusion over the location of the pitch resulting in a limited warm up, the 4's quickly settled into rhythm. Some solid play from defence and midfield created a number of chances for the 4's, one of which was converted by Becky Roberts into the first goal. In the second half, Wisbech became frustrated but the 4's kept their composure. A second goal from Julie Lewis put the 4's firmly in the lead and despite a consolation goal, Wisbech just could not match the 4's determination and cohesion. Overall a good result for the 4's and it solidifies their mid table position in the league. |
