Match Report | Yet again the 4s faced a game without key players due to shortages elsewhere. This was particularly apparent in our midfield and forward line. From the word go, the 4s faced strong opposition and were put under pressure defensively for most of the match. Despite hard work in midfield, gaps were apparent and it made it difficult to feed the ball from defence to forwards. Half time saw the 4s down 1-0. A change in formation saw some improvement in the second half initially but the 4s were overwhelmed and conceded a further three goals in the second half to make the full time score 4-0 to the opposition. Lessons were learnt for next week and the 4s will bounce back!! Women of the Match: Ali McMurray and Alex Colby |
