| Match Report | 2-1 down at half time was hopeful, Phil Gillett scoring from a rare short corner. St Ives were the stronger side overall and Saints flagged a bit in the second half even though they had two flicks they were unable to convert. MoM plaudits could have been won by anyone: Gareth Cast had a strong game as did Nigel BJ in defence, Alex Bird ran his legs off but, considering his age, Phil Gillett ran around to good effect and proved he needs to play regularly, hence MoM! |
