A 5-0 loss did not reflect the entirity of this game. Yes, Nomads came with a big squad and they had a couple of exceptional players and yes, Saints maintained a mixture of young and somewhat mature players with no subs! But it wasn't all one way traffic working to get into the opposition circle and earing short corners! Everyone worked so hard it was difficult to decide a man of the match; Gareth Cast deserved the accolade for a fine game in which he not only went forward but took his midfield defensive responsibilities seriously too!
