A depleted St Neots U12 girls squad pulled out all the stops against opponents Newmarket, March and two Ely teams in the second round of the Cambridgeshire Friendly League. The team - Charlotte Simmons, Louise Abell, Aoife Stokes, Bella Moretto, Eleanor Masters, Ruby Lane, Katie Pye, Molly Cox, Rosie Cox and Ishita Rajesh - won three games and lost only one against Ely (2). Keeper Charlotte Simmons saved a series of goal attempts following a string of short corners. Aoife Stokes and Ruby Lane produced the winning goals, ably assisted by Bella Moretto.
