With the luxury of 13 players St Neots were able to put sufficient pressure on the Peteborough side to gain a well-earned home win. A very solid defence generally dealt ably with the CoP attack and the home forwards, especially Andi Brooks and young Ben Hopperton put the away side in a number of difficulties. The experienced CoP midfield started to flag in the second half and tight marking made their lives more difficult. Andi Brooks was particularly incisive and deservedly scored both goal for the home win.
