After a struggle to field a full side, Saints came up against a squad of 16 when City turned up at Longsands. Paul Ray turned out despite injury and with Kevin Sequenza managed to put lots of pressure on the away team. Despite their subs and a number of missed oportunities Saints continued to deny their opponents , mom Tim Poole again giving a very solid performance. Kev Sequenza sneaked a goal after 20 minutes and the home side rose to the occasion, even gaining a number of shorts in the second half to no avail. Duncan Talbot provided his usual solid performance in midfield and Chris Smith was a ready foil on the left of midfield. In fact all the home team excelled and deserve congratulations for their efforts.
