Another loss despite great efforts particularly from the defence and a number of good saves from stand-in goalie Ben Seaber. An early injury to Oli Dawes did not help the attack, although Brad Forsdick kindly came on to help the team have 11 players and even scored in the first half! At 1-2 in the first half Saints had some hope of a positive result but the away side were able to field a strong side, with subs! Sam Setchell and Phil Sargeant played particularly well, the latter earning man of the match for his solid performance. Sloppy defending at the end of the second half gave the away team a goal which did not reflect the game, despite their greater number of shorts.
