Match Report | A hard-fought match against a Wellingborough side which is currrently second in Division 5. Not surprisingly, they have an incisive and strongly attacking ethos, from all parts of the pitch. Whilst they did have a few short-corners, their goals came from quick interpassing open play and a desire to get to the ball first. Despite the efforts of the defence, most notably Nigel-Buckingham-Jones (mom), the away side were 6-0 up at half time. Although still second best, Saints held their own a bit more in the second half: final score 8-0. |
