Availability issues this week resulted in a young and relatively inexperienced side travelling to Boston to face a fit team, many in their twenties, who were clinical in the D, despite sterling efforts and a number of fine saves from Simon Gautrey in goal. The young St Neots side, Sequenza and Furey notwithstanding, worked really hard and can be proud of their efforts; well-supported by parents on the sideline. Man of the match was Charlie Evans who was soon identified by the opposition as a threat to be closed down quickly. Congratulations to the team for their positive approach and application.
