Wisbech were still playing for a promotion place lying third in the table and their attack-minded play showed their intent. Despite that, St Neots put up a dogged defence spurred on by the ever-positive comments from goalkeeper Poole and central defender Buckingham-Jones! Youngsters Sam Evans and Dan Tonkin continued to show their mettle and will be all the stronger next year. Saints did well to keep the eventual score to 0-4 given the number of shorts they had to defend; they were unable to achieve any in attack however.
