A nail biting start to the game with saints leaking an early goal and then hitting the woodwork several times before Bedford again scored a well worked goal to make it 2-0 going into half time. A tactical change of positioning of some players and extra effort all round saw Holly Fraser pull one back early in the second half. Kira Herbert slotted home a great pass from Summer Payne as saints started to move the ball effectively in the Bedford defence area. Hard work from Sasha-Lee Pescod saw her diligence rewarded with the third goal to put St. Neots ahead. Summer Payne finished off the afternoon to put the game away from the possibility of a draw. A great example of team determination and character. Saints face main rivals Blueharts at home next week to possibly put the league beyond doubt. No pressure then!
