Match Report | Whilst the result suggests this was a very one sided game it is really important to stress that Warwick were a very impressive team. They were beaten in the previous round by one of the best teams in the tournament and they could easily win the plate competition. They were 15 players who had been playing together since the age of 9 and many of them are part of the England Hockey set up, so our players were very much up against and at times it felt like the lads were defending at Rourkes Drift. Wave after wave, attack after attack and the lads kept going trying to hold off their much stronger opponents. We defended really well at times and every player should be proud of their individual performances.
