A dominant performance from our Mixed A side enabled us to cruise through the pool games subbing in newer players in for game experience. Final game however against Camb A a close fought affair, losing 1-0 to the eventual overall tournament winners, Cambridge A. Overall very strong performances across the board with a cricket score in one of just 3 pool games (after teams dropped out). Our B squad also missed games due to opponents dropping out - so they played 5 v 5 game themselves in the free slots - and featured a number of new players including a great maiden showing in goal from Esme. Good energy and an opportunity to give players different positional experience, learning how to work well together.
