Match Report | A tough draw in the first round of the cup saw St Neots up against Norwich Dragons and this certainly proved the case. What was great was that St Neots shocked Norwich Dragons in a very hard fought and close first half and took the lead through a really worked goal involving Josh Draper, Phil Gentles and finished brilliantly by Archie Carroll. 1-0 up at half time and it was clear that Dragons had been shaken. The second half however was very much a different story with Dragons scoring freely and Saints only added a consolation towards the end. This was the first time these players had played together and it was very encouraging and the team received some great praise from the Dragons coach. |
