Another impressive display by the ladies 3’s to show their overall dominance of this division. Their continued determination to score was only hindered by the weather and dogged defence by Milton Keynes. The first goal came after a flurry of shots missed the target. Rosie Bettsworth picked up the ball from a panic defensive clear and drove into the circle. Players left her unmarked to shoot and score the first goal of the game. Top goalscorer Kira Herbert scored next after having one disallowed. Rosie then scored an almost identical goal to her first and the first half ended with Sophie Faulkner striking from a short corner. The elements hindered the scoring fest in the second half, as players fought both cold wind and snow but eventually the deadlock broke as Sarah Hill converted a penalty stroke. Summer Payne made a fantastic attempt from the edge of the circle but it hit the post and rebounded in front of Kira to score her second. Rosie made several attempts to achieve her first hat trick but it was Kira who shone in front of goal and scored the last one and yet another hat trick. Well done girls!
