This was a demonstration of teamwork and clinical finishing from the ladies 3's team. Despite many players being absent, a few noble 4th team members stepped up to help out the team. From the start, saints dominated the game and soon after the first whistle, Summer Payne powered her way through the defence to slot home an excellent goal. Kira Herbert followed up soon afterward with the second goal. Before half time, Summer had added to her total and Rosie Bettsworth contributed to the tally. After half time, Kira slotted home a cross from the right which she deflected into the top of the net. Due to an injury, the goalkeeper had to retire for a short time for medical aid, and it was during this time that Jay Dickinson received a long pass from Fiona Humphrey and scored past the kicking back. The saints defence had a few short corners to defend but the keeper had generally very little to do. Another good win and it keeps the team at the top of the table for another week.
