Saints started sprightly and dominated the first quarter putting the welwyn defence under pressure from the start. Jenny Coleman scored from the left hand side to put saints ahead. Soon after Sophie james made it two from the right hand side. Constant pressure meant welwyn kept mostly in their defensive half. A great solo goal from millie Payne saw the team go into the break 3-0 up. The rout continued in the second half with the welwyn goalkeeper keeping the score down. Two more goals from millie again and kira herbert left a comfortable cushion which was only spoiled late on when the defence failed to clear a cross which was put away by a player by the goal. Otherwise an excellent team contribution.
