A mix of old and new players came together with verve and enthusiasm and soon after the first whistle went, Kira Herbert had a one on one with the goalkeeper. They put the Hertfor team under pressure for much of the game and were rewarded soon after with a goal from new player Sasha-Lee. An unsighted goalkeeper allowed a simple goal to be scored against Saints soon after. The next goal was a team effort with Holly Fraser finishing off Kira's hard won cross. Sasha-Lee stole another goal in the second half to make a bit of a cushion. Unfortunately stalwart Ros Lloyd had to go off due to a head injury and it was whilst she was off that Hertford scored when a short corner was deflected high into the goal. A good result for a newly formed team
