Saints faced a strong opposition today, taking on current second place holders Hertford. However Saints stepped confidently up to the mark and gave a superb team performance. Hertford managed to get in a scrappy goal in the first half but Saints came into the second half fighting and then dominated the game. An impressive short corner by Saints then lead to an equaliser from Sue Glover. Saints continued to press and marginally missed out on scoring further with the score ending 1:1. Player of the match went to defender Karen Sutton for a strong performance.
