Match Report | A good first half of solid defending, with excellent goalkeeping and break away chances saw Saints frustrate the opposition. A missed stoke saw Saints go in at half time at nil-nil..Excellent marking and some good attacking triangles saw the youngsters playing well ably backed by the rest of the team. Two early goals for the opposition, going down to ten men, and driving rain saw Saints battle hard but concede two more to eventually lose 4-0. In part a flattering score line but it could have been more on another day. Another step along the way to getting used to playing with each other and learning the ropes. |
