Saints faced an away game against top of the table Wellinborough 1s with a bare eleven players, yet again, and were soon down to ten when Nick Edwards had to come off after 5 minutes when hit of the knee by a forceful Wellingborough shot on goal. Soking up the constant pressure from a well-drilled, fit and skillful team, Saints were 4-0 down at half time. With only ten players and only one of them under 35, Saints worked hard but posed little threat to the home team's young, fit squad of 15 players; indeed the home keeper only touched the ball twice. Saints man of the match was Tim Wood who gave his all at centre back. Despite all efforts, Wellingboroughscored another seven goals!
