An outstanding first half effort from St Neots kept a high-scoring Spalding team at bay until just before half time when they conceded after much pressure. Despite grounds for optimism, the parked bus quickly crumbled and Saints began to let in further goals. To be fair, some of these were unstoppable and of the highest quality. Aggressive,quick play from yet another young side found Saints caught out in defence and struggling to make any worthwhile attempt on the Spalding goal. Man of the match for the St Neots side was captain, Geoff Watts for his never-say-die attitude!
