Match Report | With a bare eleven players Saints used all their skill and experience against a young and skillful CoP team with a spine of older players. Absorbing early pressure Saints maintained their formation; 0-0 at half time. Duncan Talbot was his usual hard-working and effective self both in defending and setting up attacks. Saints were able to press more in the second half and scored via Mark Harrison who revels in a forward role. A rare threat on goal saw CoP score an equaliser with just minutes to go. A good all-round team performance! |
