| Match Report | After a long discussion about the state of the pitch with one corner area still frozen, we decided to give it a go, but the match was abandoned after 1 minutes and 43 seconds. Within that time, Cambridge City managed to score within a minute when Chris Smith passed straight to a City player and seconds after the restart, Nathan passed the ball forward to Danny into the frozen area of the pitch, who promptly slipped over, closely followed by a Cambridge City player who slipped over even more dramatically. The umpires almost immediately called a halt to the game, with the date of the rearranged fixture to be confirmed. We then proceeded to have a number of St Neots and Cambridge City players mix in for a half hour knock about session in the "safe" half of the pitch. Chris Smith can count himself a very lucky boy that there were no DOD awards this week!
