Match Report | A tough match today against a strong Wisbech. No practice balls meant a challenging warm up and we were very slow getting out of the blocks against a very lively and skilful looking Wisbech. Within the 1st 10 mins we were 2-0 down and staring down the barrel. We didn't really get going until the last 15 where we started to get to grips with the game. Danny pulled one back after we had managed to string a few passes together and get bodies upfield and shortly before half time, a magnificent ball by Steve from his left back position up to Paul in space on the right, enabled Paul to attack the D and slip the ball to Danny who tucked in the equaliser. The 2nd half was very competitive and physical and although Wisbech won a number of short corners, they couldn't convert and they still had to be careful of st Neots attacks which increased in number as the game wore on. We were perhaps fortunate to come away with a draw but our fighting spirit was good (after the 1st 10). We still need to get our formation better and this is perhaps the biggest challenge over the coming weeks.
